Subscriptions start at $30 a day, which works out to $900 a month for a Model 3 on the 6-month plan. Month-to-month plans start at $1,000 a month and weekly plans start at $350 a week. The rate you see for the car includes taxes and required fees, and a one-time $99 initiation fee and a refundable security deposit apply on top. Tolls, charging, and any extra miles are added as you use them and billed with your regular payment. The deposits are $1,000 on weekly and monthly plans and $1,500 on 6-month plans. It is authorized as a hold rather than charged, and it is released after the car is returned and any outstanding charges are settled.
Not automatically. You can use your own auto insurance or add a protection plan at checkout. Subscriptions offer two choices: No Protection, where you bring your own coverage, or Standard Protection, which adds liability plus collision and comprehensive with a $500 deductible. Protection fees vary by vehicle and are shown before you book.
Your plan covers the car rental itself, 1,000 miles a month (250 a week on weekly plans), roadside assistance for flat tires, breakdowns, and lockouts, a toll pass, routine maintenance, Basic Autopilot on every Tesla, and 24/7 customer service. Monthly and 6-month plans also include free delivery within 10 miles. Insurance is not automatically included, and charging, tolls, and extra miles are billed as you use them.

Monthly and 6-month plans can be cancelled with 15 days notice, and weekly plans need 7 days. Shorter notice than that carries a $99 fee. If you end a 6-month plan early, the rate reverts to the monthly price and the difference comes out of your deposit. After the six months, the plan continues month to month until you cancel. There is no buyout and nothing left to pay off at the end.

Verification takes as little as an hour. Once you are approved, pickup or delivery can happen in as little as 24 hours, and a member of the team contacts you 24 hours before your start date to arrange the handover.
Yes. A valid license from your home country are accepted, so no U.S. license is needed. International drivers do not need U.S. credit history or a U.S. bank account, and all major international cards are accepted. Visa types including H-1B, L-1, E-2, J-1, and G-series are supported, and some countries require an International Driving Permit.
A lease means a credit application, $3,000 to $5,000 down, and 36 to 72 months locked in. Buying runs around $1,200 a month once you count the loan, insurance, and depreciation, with $4,500 or more down. An Eon subscription starts at $900 a month with no down payment, a one-time $99 initiation fee, a refundable deposit, and 15 days notice to walk away.
A rental has a set end and start date. A subscription runs on a renewing term until you finish with the car and return it back to us. Generally subscriptions are much cheaper than daily rentals and ideal for short term lease alternative needs.
Yes. You can subscribe yourself and add a coworker as an authorized driver at no cost, and a company that needs several cars or wants to be billed directly can set up a business subscription with our corporate team.
You charge the way any Tesla driver does, at Tesla's Supercharger network on the road or at standard charging stations around town. Whatever you spend on charging is added to your reservation as you go and billed with your regular payment, so there is nothing to settle up at the end of your term.
Drivers must be at least 21 with a valid license. You can add up to 2 additional drivers at no cost, and each one gets their own digital key in the app, so no one has to wait around for a key handoff. More drivers can be added for a fee.
